When your mailbox is moved to Exchange 2010, Outlook Web Access (OWA) is not available via the old URL (exch.wlv.ac.uk).
To access your mail off campus go to: https://exchcas.wlv.ac.uk/owa, which will direct you to Outlook Web App if you've been moved to Exchange 2010.The new Outlook Web App is much easier to use and looks much more like Outlook than the previous version did.
Alternatively, if you have Outlook 2010 on your personally owned computer, you can set up Outlook Anywhere, which means your email will look the same as it does at work .
At the OWA login screen enter your IT Account Username and password, then select Sign In. If your connection is slow, you may wish to use the 'light version' of OWA, as it is faster but has less functionality.
The first time you log in you will be prompted to select your regional settings - do so as appropriate and select the OK button.
Conversation View
By default, OWA opens with conversation view switched on. This groups all messages with the same subject together in one item to help you keep track of replies.
To turn conversation view off
- Select View
- Select Use Conversations to remove the tick next to it.
- You need to do this for each of your folders.
