The University provides students with an email account hosted on Microsoft’s Office 365 service. It includes:

25GB of mail storage.
Calendar, contact and task facilities.
Online address book.
Access from mobile devices using the ActiveSync feature.

Students who enrolled before Christmas 2012 will also have 7GB SkyDrive cloud storage, which can be accessed from anywhere inside or outside the University. Anyone enrolling after that can register to get SkyDrive storage at https://skydrive.live.com.

Microsoft also offer additional services such as:

Lync online instant messaging and conferencing
Access to Microsoft Office Web Apps for document sharing and editing

IT Services will NEVER ask you for your username and password by email.
