Network Authorisation
Set up a connection to the network you want to use, i.e.. wolfradiolan.
If you try and access the Internet, and your system hasn’t been registered or authorised to use the University network, you'll see the following screen:
Enter your IT Account username and password. If you don't have an IT Account, you'll need to register for one.
Download Clean Access Agent
You now need to download and install the clean access agent software on your computer, which you only have to do once.
If your username and password are accepted, on most computers you’ll see the screen below - Network Security Notice.
Select Download CISCO NAC Agent to start the download.
In your downloads folder - double-click CCAAAgent_MacOSX.tar to expand it:
This will produce the installer package:
Double click CCAAgent.pkg to start the installer.
Install CISCO Clean Access Agent
Follow the instructions on the Installer screens to install the software. This is the first one, and you'll be prompted through all the steps on the left of the screen.
When you see the following screen at the 'Install' stage, enter your computer's Administrator Username and Password, (not your University IT Account details).
When your computer username and password have been verified, you should see a message saying that the software has been successfully installed.
Log on to Clean Access Agent
When the software has been installed successfully, the following window should open automatically:
Enter your University IT Account username and password, then select Login.
Note: If you check the Remember Me box, your details will only be retained until you shutdown your computer.
If your account details are verified, you will see the box below and should be able to access the Internet as normal.

Log out of Clean Access Agent
To log out of Clean Access without shutting down your Mac, select the Clean Access icon from the Menu bar and choose Logout.
Note: If you log out, you won't be able to access the Internet.
From here you may also activate the Log in window.
Problems?
If you have problems connecting to the wireless network after installing Clean Access, try turning wireless (Airport) off and back on again. (The problem may be that your Mac is not getting a new IP address).
If you have any problems with the procedure, please contact the IT Service Desk on ext. 2000, or ask staff in a Learning Centre.
