How do I use PCounter for Photocopying
You can photocopy on the Multi Function Devices (MFDs), which are in various locations across the University.
To photocopy, you need your University Card and enough credit in your PCounter account to pay for your photocopying.
- Scan your University Card on the reader attached to the MFD. You'll see how much credit you've got in your PCounter account displayed on the card reader's screen. If you don't have any money in your PCounter account, or your balance is less than the price of one copy, you'll see a message saying 'Insufficient Funds'.
- Choose the option to Copy on the card reader
- Use the touchscreen on the MFD to select your options, then press the green button on the MFD to start copying
VERY IMPORTANT: When you've finished copying, press the red finish button. If you don't, the next person to use the MFD could use your PCounter credit to pay for their copying.
- Copy on A4/A3
- Colour copying
- Multiple copies using top feeder
- Double-sided copies
Note: You can copy up to the amount of credit in your account. If you ask for 20 copies, but only have enough credit in your account to pay for 10 copies, the copying will just stop.
